The Provinces Special Investigations Unit, or the SIU is now conducting an incident involving North Bay Police. Reports say that just after 5:00am this morning, city Police responded to a domestic disturbance. Shortly after their arrival the officers attempted to arrest a male person in the residence. During the arrest, a taser was deployed. Police say an ambulance was requested as the male was observed to be in medical distress. He was taken to the North Bay Regional Health Centre where he was pronounced deceased. The SIU says no further information is being released.
