The city of Greater Sudbury says all up $1.35 million went out the door in 2017, purchasing properties including $595,000 to purchase properties along the Kingsway for the widen and straighten the road way. Thus far the city has purchased more than 17 single-family homes, along with a number of duplexes. The city says they still intend to buy a number of other residential buildings, including just over 10 single-family homes, two of which have a commercial business.
