The City of North Bay has received a little recognition when it comes to the support and the engagement with older adults and connecting community partners. The Ontario Age-Friendly Community Recognition Award is doled out a community seen to have a vision statement and action plan to guide the City in the hopes of becoming an age-friendly community. The award was given to North Bay this year, as designated by the World Health Organization.
