300 trees planted in along shoreline

Grandparents together with their grandchildren took part in a major tree pant today along Chippewa Creek’s shoreline. As part of the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority’s planting program, 300 trees were planted, which according to Riley Henderson with the Authority, will mark a change everyone can enjoy for generations.

Funding for this event was made possible from a grant from TD Friends of the Environment.
