Woman in her 20’s busted for food theft

A 24-year-old woman has been taken into custody following a Theft. It happened at a local Timmins grocer when the woman is said to have put almost $100 of items in her car, before leaving without paying. The woman was stopped, and Police were contacted. Constable Marc Depatie spoke to us and says there’s no need for anyone to steal what is considered the basic necessities.
