Construction will close another Timmins intersection

A busy Timmins intersection will be temporarily closed for construction starting next week. The road closure on Algonquin Boulevard will be extended to include the Theriault Boulevard intersection.
The detour for local traffic, including cyclists, is Wilson Avenue. The temporary traffic signals at the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Cameron Street are being reprogrammed to maximize the flow of traffic, according to the City of Timmins. The heavy truck traffic detour is on Airport and Laforest Road.
