Parking meter price going up?

Parking in downtown Sudbury could soon cost you more. This week the Greater Sudbury said in an attempt to get people who work downtown to use monthly parking rather than parking meters, they’re jacking the price from $1.30 per hour to $2.50. This also addresses what the city says is a longstanding issue, where “feeding the meter” all day is cheaper than renting a monthly space at a parking lot.
