A mine closure in Greater Sudbury expected to last about a month, will now go straight through new year’s, until the end of January. This all surrounds production interruption at Vale’s Coleman Mine so that what Vale calls “necessary repairs” can continue. The company says 100 of their members have been temporarily transferred to other mine sites, while 90 continue to work at Coleman.
