Closed school will open as new facility

The former Dr. MacDougall Public School see children in the building once again, only under a new purpose. The school is being transformed into an Indigenous-led facility will include an Early Ontario Child and Family Centre and licensed child care centre. It is among four projects selected to participate in similar expansions across the province.
