Resolution regarding Essar Centre passes

Sault Ste. Marie city Council has passed a resolution asking city staff to compare the Essar Centre with that in other similar-sized municipalities.  Municipalities that have privately operated facilities.

This is following a report that Sault Ste. Marie’s premier entertainment facility is losing more money every year.

This year? As much as $626,000.
