A Sudbury researcher looking at how to improve the health of Aboriginal children has received a substantial grant. Laurentian University’s Nancy Young is the Research Chair in Rural and Northern Children’s Health and now the recipient of a $2 million Health System Research Fund grant for Health Promotion. The money, in from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care was announced this week during Research Week at Laurentian.
