First Nations Advisory Committee formed

Timmins City Council has voted in favour of creating a First Nations Advisory Committee. The Mayor told attendees yesterday that the last Census showed over 10 per cent of the city’s population is Indigenous, and that creating a committee to solve issues revolving around race, is important… and told us today that three flags will soon be hoisted at city hall.
