Power back on, following a blown fuse
Must of the power has been restored, following an outage yesterday in Greater Sudbury. It happened at the cities south end just before the lunch hour. A blown fuse has been blamed. Customers from the Webbwood Drive and Lorne Street intersection to Kelly Lake Road at Copper Street with continued problems should call Sudbury Hydro.
Highway closed due to flooding
The Ministry of Transportation, along with OPP closed another highway east of North Bay yesterday, this time due to flooding. Highway 533, between Highway 656 and Highway 63, northwest of the Town of Mattawa, Ontario, due to severe flooding. The MTO has placed barricades at both ends of the closure. Driving on a closed highway is forbidden.
Schaap will stand for NOP party in Timmins
The Northern Ontario Party says they have a candidate for Timmins riding. Gary Schaap will stand for the NOP on June 7th. Schaap, an Englehart resident, is the party vice-president and interim president of the Timmins Riding Association.

Car meets curb
Timmins Police were called to the ONR overpass on Algonquin Boulevard yesterday, following a head on collision. Not between two vehicles, a with one of the sidewalls that was high enough to do significant damage to the car. There were no serious injuries, and the cause of the crash has not been released.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service has outstanding warrants for the arrest of Marcus TURALITSCH.
It is alleged that on March 28th,, Marcus TURALITSCH did breach court ordered conditions.
