Students given a “compassionate grading” system

Students at Laurentian University in Sudbury will now have a new grading option due to part to COVID. Under what’s being called a “compassionate grading” system, students can choose a pass or fail designation for their courses, rather than having specific grades listed. The school says it will offer flexibility at a time where students need it most.
