Province to enter stage one on Friday, June 11 at 12:01 am
Most of Ontario will move into stage one at 12:01 am Friday, three days ahead of schedule. This means indoor church services can operate at 15% capacity while outdoor church services can operate in full, providing COVID-19 protocols… such as physical distancing are adhered to.
That said, the Porcupine Health Unit medical officer of health Dr. Lianne Catton says the PHU won’t be moving to the first stage just yet. In the third wave of the pandemic, the Porcupine Health Unit has seen a record number of cases. No timeline on stage one has been given by the PHU.

The projects include removing the wind tower and fencing, which will be replaced by creating a fully accessible gazebo and the levelling and installation of a new boardwalk. Mobile phone charging stations for visitors to the marina either by boat or trail and road access, the addition of trilingual and directional signage and enhanced social media promotion.
The work would be completed by September this year.
Meanwhile,
Federal Funding will aid two Nipissing organizations. $15,000 is going to the Gathering Place to work with the Children’s Aid Society and build a community garden. The garden is located at the former École St Paul location known as the CAS Learning Hub.
Meanwhile, Downtown North Bay and Waterfront are receiving $50,000. Small infrastructure improvements are being made to four designated outdoor sites, by installing ambient lighting and paving a multi-use parking lot.
