Power outage restored in Greater Sudbury

A power outage this morning in Greater Sudbury is blamed on a squirrel. The outage began happened after six (6:10am) At its peak, the outage affected 4,171 customers in the areas of downtown, Wembley Drive / Sudbury General Hospital and Minnow Lake. All power has been restored.

Details: Nearly 2,300 customers were reconnected by 7 a.m., with the remaining 1,885 customers reconnected just before 8 a.m.
