City banks tax payer dollars to fix sidewalks

The City of Sault Ste. Marie says tax dollars will provide nearly $470k ($469,711) for 1,353 square metres of sidewalks this year. The work will include 589 linear metres of curb and 12 accessibility ramps. The planned work represents 0.3 percent of sidewalks maintained by the city and 0.1 percent of curbs.
