$3.5 million in Federal Funding coming to Sudbury Airport Community Development

$3.5 million in targeted funding is coming to the Sudbury Airport Community Development Corporation. From the Federal Government, it’s to mitigate financial pressures brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre and Sudbury MP Paul Lefebvre say the funding will support the operations of the Greater Sudbury Airport for a one-year period and help maintain 27 local jobs.
