Cooking fire evacutes building due to smoke

Residents of Sovereign Court in North Bay were forced from their units today following a fire. It started in the kitchen with smoke through the second floor. The resident was treated on the scene by paramedics and transported to the North Bay Regional Health Centre for treatment of smoke inhalation and observation. Firefighters received the alarm just after 8:30 a.m.
