One student tests positive for COVID-19 at Rainbow district school

The Rainbow District School board says one student has tested positive for COVID-19. It is at R.L. Beattie Public School. The individual is currently self-isolating and is being monitored by Public Health Sudbury and Districts. There is no evidence of transmission of COVID-19 at the school at this time. Staff and students in the Grade 6 class in Room 200 have been asked to self-isolate, as have students on two bus routes (morning elementary bus route N458 and afternoon elementary bus route L812).
