Male arrested for attempted theft

Sault Ste Marie Police have arrested a male following a theft from a vehicle. A news release issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service alleges that the 31-year-old accused fled after attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle. At the time of his arrest, the accused was riding a stolen bicycle and allegedly was in possession of a number of tools, including a saw.
