45-year-old woman tries to jump R.I.D.E. check point, arrested

Manitoulin-Espanola OPP say they’ve hauled a vehicle off the road for at least 45-days following a traffic stop. They say that this is after Police observed a vehicle allegedly attempting to avoid a R.I.D.E. check. A short time later, the officer located the vehicle and occupants. An investigation revealed that the 40-year-old female driver was prohibited from operating a motor vehicle.
