Cyclists reminded to stay off the sidewalk

Heading into the weekend Sault Ste Marie Police are reminding Cyclists to stay off the sidewalks. They took to social media today reminding all residents of bi-laws that indicate sidewalks are for pedestrians. They say in a statement today that not only is it not safe to ride a bicycle on sidewalks, anyone over 10 years of age found to be cycling on a sidewalk could face a $45 fine.
