Speed reduction purposed at Timmins city council

Timmins city council is looking into a speed limit change in South Porcupine. At Tuesday’s Timmins council meeting, Coun. Mickey Auger says he’s been getting calls from those on Harold indicating vehicles are going too fast into the community. The current suggestion is that the speed limit is dropped to 70kph on Highway 101 East at the Tisdale Transfer Station then to 50 km/h at the first house in Finntown.
