Steelworkers local 6500 looking at tentative deal

Steelworkers local 6500 meet today to vote on deal with Vale. The deal on the table is one that offers 6% wage increase and keep post-retirement benefits for new hires. Wage increases of six percent over five years and maintaining post-retirement benefits for new hires are among the highlights. It also comes with a $3,500 signing bonus, to be paid in September.
