Man facing numerous charges after stand off with Police

Sault Ste. Marie Police Services charged a 29-year-old man with various offenses after several hours of negotiations. It stemmed from a standoff on Douglas Street early Sunday morning. The 29-year-old was taken into custody without incident. He was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 4, 2021.
