81-year-old dead in traffic accident
The Sudbury OPP has confirmed that an 81-year-old woman died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 on October 1st, 2017. The OPP said the driver of a Toyota Corolla pulled onto Highway 17 from a private drive at 12:49 p.m., and the vehicle was struck in the eastbound lane by a GMS Cutaway van. The driver of the Toyota Corolla, 81-year-old Milja Leduc from Wahnapitae, Ontario has died as a result of her injuries. No charges were laid.
