Funding coming for those welcoming newcomers

Three Sudbury organizations will be able to provide all the warmer welcome to newcomers and refugees, thanks to an infuse from the Provincial Government in the amount of $540,000. The Sudbury Multicultural and Folk Arts Association, Collège Boréal and the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario will benefit.

A North Bay Nurse will be getting her job back, two years after getting fired. In a sizable report, an arbitrator ruled that Sue McIntyre is to be reinstated to her employment without loss of benefits or seniority, with back pay, after she
