Sudbury to spend over $60m on road repair

Road repair for the city of Sudbury will one of the top priorities this year. That’s the word from Tom Davies Square when it comes to spending for 2018. Reports say that $60.2 million will be pulled from the city coffer for Nickel City’s transportation network. Most of the work will include construction, road widening and intersection enhancements.

Highway remains closed

511Ontario took to Twitter this week to say that Highway 537 in Greater Sudbury remains closed at Jumbo Creek due to flooding. There is no word as to when the roadway would re-open.
