Construction worker struck

A Sudbury pedestrian hit by a vehicle in the Whitefish and Walden area has been sent to hospital.

Police say the construction worker, a flag man, was hit by a mini-van and is now being treated for serious injuries.

Police and the Ministry of Labor are investigating.
