Door to door sales banned in Ontario

While door to door sales have been a hallmark technique to push product for generations, it will soon be illegal in the Province of Ontario.  Starting March 1st unsolicited, door-to-door sales of certain household items such as water filters are air conditioners will be coming into place.  The Province says that the move will better protect consumers from aggressive and misleading contracting at home.
