Frontline staff at transition house in strike position, June 28

Workers at Nipissing Transition House in North Bay are calling for expanded programs and enhanced workplace protections. CUPE says contract negotiations have been ongoing since 2019, while front-line staff say programs are either vacant or struggle to have funding. CUPE says 16 members at Nipissing Transition House will be in a legal strike position on June 28th.
