A “Wintery Mix” of weather is expected today in a number of areas across the North East. In a number of places, snow, ice pellets and possibly freezing rain will continue this morning. Environment Canada says surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Utility outages may occur.
