LU reports first case of a COVID-19 Omicron Variant

Laurentian University is reporting a positive case of the COVID-19 Omicron variant on its campus. The university’s president, Robert Haché, made the announcement on school’s website this morning. All exams that were to occur Dec. 17 (not including 9 a.m. exam sessions, which were already underway when Haché issued his statement at 10:30 a.m.) and Dec. 18 will be rescheduled to occur remotely.
