Mental Health Program starts up in December

North Bay Police Service has teamed up with Nipissing University, Hands The Family Help Network, and a software developer, to aid children and youth mental health. The software program which can be used on a smartphone produces a questionnaire that takes only a few moments to complete. Once the answers are plugged in, it uses algorithms to compute risk and behavioral levels. It’s slated to be ready by December.
