NDP say block “back to work legislation”

The latest move to get Faculty at Ontario’s 24 colleges back to work has been blocked. This is after the Premier herself attempted to table a bill, forcing back to work legislation. While it was supported by the PCs it did not get unanimous consent. NDP leader Andrea Horwath said in a statement yesterday, that while the NDP want students back in class, it needs to be achieved through a deal.  Had the legislation gone forward, classes would have resumed Monday.
