Cold weather wouldn’t stop the Lockerby Vikings in Greater Sudbury this week as they went door-to-door collecting donations for pediatric cancer care. KFM Spoke to Lockerby’s principle, Craig Runciman… who says it’s all a part of reaching students, and students reach into the community.

At the celebration assembly this morning, it was announced that they had raised $55,500. This was all in name of a former Lockerby student who passed away battling cancer in 1996. All the funds raised go to the Northeast Cancer Centre.
