The first “Cross Ride” goes up

“A crosswalk for cyclists” has been installed at Ramsey Lake Road and Paris Street, as part of a new project… it’s a piece of first “cross ride”, where a cyclist to legally ride their bicycles through an intersection without dismounting.

It is illegal for any driver to be in dedicated space while any cyclist who has the right of way, is attempting to cross.

Drivers are reminded to proceed with caution.
