The Painting

A few years ago, I had just finished my very first attempt at a painting. My husband and my children were so encouraging, but as I shared it with them, they each seemed to point out very different things they noticed and liked about it.

Many times, we have visited Art museums during our summer holidays and I am always amazed at how many interpretations people can have of one single painting. A piece of art can move you deeply. I’ve stood before a painting feeling saddened by the tone of it, while others I’ve looked at were so beautiful,
