Woman charged following a false “attempted abduction” call

Greater Sudbury Police say a woman who reported an attempted abduction has been charged with public mischief. The call-in yesterday alleging someone had attempted to pull her into his vehicle on Albert Street. The investigation revealed the accused provided false information to police and in her social media posts. She will be in court in October.
