Women’s World Championships come to North Bay

Hurry Hard… the World Women’s Curling Championships are in North Bay starting this weekend. With the opening ceremonies this weekend. Steve Dreany is with Tourism North Bay and says that a event like this is not only a chance to boost the local economy but introduce the world, once again to game.

That, was 1997 at the Granit Club… The South Korean team won Silver at this year’s Olympics while Team Sweden won Gold, along with Team Canada… both will be at this year’s event.
