SUMMARY:"The Flagship Erie's Final Flight" Play
DESCRIPTION:In 2023\, the original play version of Lawrence Station\, written by local playwright\, Len Cuthbert\, and produced by Fridge Door Live Theatre Company was staged to sold-out audiences of 600+ people. The play tells the story of the crash of American Airlines Flagship Erie on October 30\, 1941\, in Thompson Howe’s farm field in Lawrence Station\, ON. It was the worst Canadian aviation disaster at the time\, killing all 17 passengers and 3 crew on board. \nThis stage production takes place on the 85th anniversary of the crash. \nSouthwold Keystone Complex\, 35921 Talbot Line\, Shedden \n$20 advance (www.OnStageLive.ca or at Township Office) or $25 at the door.
