Lift Every Voice: An Evening of Music and Stories

Get ready to experience something truly special at Lift Every Voice – Black Heritage Celebration. This is an in-person event where we come together to celebrate, connect, and uplift each other. Grounded in the theme of remembering the past, reflecting on the present, and reimagining the future, the night creates space to honour the voices and journeys that have shaped us. The evening features JUNO Award–winning artist Carlos Morgan, alongside recording artists Verese Vassell-Bowen and Michelle Adams, who will share music drawn from their lived experiences, legacies, and hopes. Presented in collaboration with Joy In the City Guelph Society and the Guelph Black Heritage Society, this gathering celebrates community, resilience, and the power of coming together, lifting every voice, and making room for those yet to be heard.
