The Tree of Remembrance & Holiday Remembrance Listing
- Grief Talk: How Children Cope with Death and Loss (Free of charge; Registration is required)
- Wednesday, November 26 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
- Central Branch Library (Stevenson & Hunt A/B), 251 Dundas St, London
- Presented by Dr. Eunice Gorman, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Thanatology at King’s University College, this free educational session explores how children and youth understand and cope with death and loss.
Tree of Remembrance Gathering
- Sunday, December 7 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
- Opening remarks begin at 10:00 a.m., and light refreshments will be provided.
- Victoria Park, London (near the cannon monument, Clarence Street entrance)
- This free community event offers a quiet, supportive space to reflect, connect, and honour loved ones who are no longer with us.
- Guests are welcome to bring a personal ornament to hang on the Tree of Remembrance— illuminated with white lights — a shining symbol of enduring love, remembrance, and hope.
